Désiré Nonka-Maho Doué, born on June 3, 2005, in Angers, France, has rapidly emerged as one of the most promising talents in European football. Primarily an attacking midfielder or winger, Doué is celebrated for his exceptional dribbling, speed, and dynamic style of play.

Early Career and Rise at Rennes

Doué’s football journey began in the youth ranks of Stade Rennais, where he spent a decade from 2011 to 2021. He made his senior debut for Rennes II in 2021 and quickly progressed, breaking into the Rennes first team in 2022. During his time at Rennes, he made 57 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring 7 goals. His talent was evident early on, becoming the youngest French goalscorer in European club competitions in October 2022, a record since surpassed.

    Historic Transfer to Paris Saint-Germain

In a significant move that underscored his burgeoning potential, Doué joined fellow Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on August 17, 2024, in a transfer deal reportedly worth €50 million, plus potential bonuses. He signed a contract valid until June 30, 2029, reportedly rejecting an offer from German giants Bayern Munich. This transfer marked a pivotal moment in his career, thrusting him onto an even bigger stage.

Impact at PSG and International Recognition

Doué’s debut season with PSG has been nothing short of remarkable. He has quickly established himself as a key player, contributing significantly to PSG’s domestic and European campaigns. In the 2024-2025 season, he has already made 31 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring 6 goals, and has been a crucial part of PSG’s run to the Champions League final.

His recent performance in the Champions League final, where he scored one goal and assisted another against Inter, further cemented his status as a breakout star. At just 19 years and 362 days old, he became the third teenager to score in a Champions League final and the youngest player ever to both score and assist in the competition’s showpiece event.

Beyond club football, Doué has also been a regular for various France youth international teams, including the U17, U19, and U21 levels. He was part of the France U17 squad that won the 2022 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and represented the France Olympic team in 2024, earning a silver medal. He earned his first senior cap for the France national team in March 2025.

    Net Worth and Financial Outlook

While specific and definitive figures for Désiré Doué’s total net worth are not publicly disclosed, estimations can be made based on his professional contracts and transfer fees. His transfer to PSG in August 2024 for €50 million is a substantial indicator of his market value.

As of recent reports, his annual base salary with PSG is estimated to be around £5.10 million, or approximately £98,116 per week. His market value is currently reported to be in the range of €57.4 million to €95.7 million by football transfer valuation sites. Given his young age, significant transfer fee, and high-profile contract with one of Europe’s top clubs, Désiré Doué’s net worth is undoubtedly substantial and is expected to grow considerably throughout his promising career.
